On Wednesday 3rd December 2025, the Lord-Lieutenant, Mrs Susie Sheldon, visited the Waterside Pool in Ryde. She was greeted by Todd Miller, the Manager, who introduced the trustees and met other members of staff. She was shown the recent project display panels before cutting a ribbon to open the new changing facilities. She was given a tour of all the changing areas by the main contractor and the trustees. A plaque to commemorate the latest official opening was presented.
